My working method is to be as close in amongst the action without it feeling like I'm in amongst the action, some of the comments I get are,

I didn't notice you there,

I studied Art and Photography over 30 years ago, made the transition from film to digital (reluctantly at first) and made it my mission to discover which area excites me.
My first job was with a commercial studio photographing products whose clients icluded, BT, Coca Cola and other large organisations which made the work extremely varied and very creative. I helped build sets, arrange products and add effects using dry ice and editing in the darkroom.

These days I prefer to do as little post production as possible to allow my clients to add their own finishing touches according to how they're using the images on that occasion.
The Common Wealth Games 2022
I can't even convey how proud I am to be have had the opportunity to work on this event for the NEC Birmingham. Birmingham did an amazing job in showcasing the city's brilliant facilities, being inclusive of the whole community and the NEC pulled their part off in spectacular fashion.

Show how well the NEC's chameleon like nature was perfectly exhibited in the range of sport on show and and the complicated set up the sports arenas.
Model Portfolio shots
I regularly help models with their portfolio content and this one is a favourite because of the amount of good shots we got, the model had three changes of clothes and complete make up changes.
Our aim was to get some general portfolio shots along with a small amount of commercial shots.
Tori has since gone on to work with Beaverbrooks and Pizza Hut and continues to secure more work.
Singer Songwriter Tori Cross Music video stills
This shoot was an escape from the norm as I'd never done this before but I loved the challenge of capturing the essence of the video show the team working to get it right.
With a new single about to be released, Tori tasked me with capturing a range of images which show the behind the scenes activity and the set up. It was a simple shoot with the couples speaking from the heart, so the challenge was to photograph the scene without intruding or spoiling the moment.
